Florence County is accepting proposals from qualified vendors to perform cleaning and janitorial services for various Florence County Library Facilities as defined in this Request for Proposal (RFP). Work shall be performed at all six Florence County Library System properties, located at:
Florence Branch - 509 S. Dargan St., Florence, SC 29506 (83,000 sq. ft.)
Johnsonville Branch - 242 S. Georgetown Hwy., Johnsonville, SC 29555 (6,500 sq. ft.)
Lake City Branch - 221 E. Main St., Lake City, SC 29560 (11,300 sq. ft.)
Olanta Branch - 210 E. Hampton St., Olanta, SC 29114 (6,500 sq. ft.)
Pamplico Branch - 100 E. Main St., Pamplico, SC 29583 (8,100 sq. ft.)
Timmonsville Branch - 298 W. Smith St., Timmonsville, SC 29161 (6,500 sq. ft.) The initial term of the contract resulting from this request for proposal, shall begin on September 1, 2023 and shall run for 1 year until August 31, 2024. The parties thereafter shall have the option to renew this agreement for four (4) additional one year terms, one year at a time, but only upon the mutual agreement of both parties. All Potential Responders Must Attend Both the Mandatory Preproposal Conference and All the Mandatory Site Visits. Any Sealed Proposal Received From a Responder Not Having Met These Requirements Will Not Be Opened and Will Be Removed From Further Consideration of or Any Contract That May Be Awarded as a Result of This RFP. The County shall have the sole discretion in evaluating both the proposals and the qualifications of the offerors. The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and is not bound to accept any proposals, if the proposals acceptance is contrary to the best interest of the County.Florence County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals in whole or in part and to amend or supplement this RFP. All questions pertaining to this RFQ including any discrepancies or ambiguities, must be submitted in writing via Vendor Registry no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 14, 2023.
