Work sites include primary and secondary streets, parking lots, walking paths, and athletic courts located within the boundaries of the Village of Oswego, Illinois. In general, the scope of this contract shall be to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision for fire hydrant painting services. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or packages and to waive any informality or technical error and to accept any bid deemed most favorable to the interests of the organization. The Village has a total of 2900 hydrants. This project will require an estimate of 300 hydrants per fiscal year to be completed. Questions regarding this legal notice or the proposal package must be in writing and emailed directly to CBurns@oswegoil.org until July 12, 2023, at 12 pm (noon) local time. Responses will be posted by July 14, 2023, at 12pm (noon) local time. A 10% bid bond must be submitted with the bid. This Project is subject to the Illinois Public Construction Bond Act (30 ILCS 550) and requires a 110% performance, labor, and material payment bond on award of contract.
