The purpose of this RFP is to hire a consulting firm to:Review the Parsons Industrial Park both the surface drainage and underground sewer pipe system by inspecting the drainage system. Surveying of the Parsons Industrial Park and surrounding area will be required. Develop a concept design report with the City Administration improves to the drainage through out the Parsons Industrial Park and surrounding area. The concept design will have cost estimates showing the stages and the costs for each stage, indicating how the storm sewer system can be improved in the Parsons Industrial Park. The yearly stages will be broken down to approximately $150,000 to 200,000 budget amounts that will include project management, engineering costs (survey, design, tenders, evaluation, inspections, progress payments, and substantial completion) and construction cost including site remediation including final grades and landscaping. The concept design estimates for included annual inflation amounts starting in 2024. A present to Administration and to Council of the findings, proposals and proposed work scheduling of work and costs will be made (2 presentations). The presentation can be done in person or by Zoom meetings.
