Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Huntington, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project rehabilitates and resurfaces CR 35, Park Avenue, from its intersection with CR 86, Broadway/Greenlawn Road, north to NYS Route 25A, approximately 3.6 miles. New traffic signals, pedestrian appurtenances, drainage, curbs, and sidewalks will be installed as required. The project's first phase, which rehabilitated CR 35 from CR 86, Broadway/Greenlawn Road, north to CR 11, Pulaski Road, is complete. The second phase continues rehabilitation from the intersection with CR 11, Pulaski Road north to the intersection with NYS Route 25A, approximately 1.9 miles, including the realignment of the intersection with Woodhull Road near the northern terminus of the corridor. Fiscal Years 2024-2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
