Site work for a mixed-use development in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of November 21, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded as the owner has decided to handle construction in house. Construction has commenced, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Alexander Park - Playground Improvements contains one (1) contract: Contract No. 1 - Site Improvement Contract. A bid bond or certified check shall accompany each proposal to the Owner in the amount of 10 percent of the total base bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the bid opening date and may not be withdrawn during this period. All bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form and on the unit costs and alternates. This contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Hummelstown Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to re-advertise and award the contract in the regular manner or to waive any informality in the bid received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable in the interest of Hummelstown Borough.
