Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of October 20, 2023 all bids for this project have been rejected and the project is expected to be rebid, however, a rebid date has not been established. Questions regarding the specifications to Adam Barnier, Senior Civil Engineer at barniera@kalamazoocity.org. by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday October 11, 2023. This contract includes but is not limited to: All work as described in the specifications for the removal of approximately 47 concrete patches and replacement with HMA as outlined in this document and its appendices. The bidder shall furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, tools, equipment and other means necessary or proper for performing and completing the work. The bidder shall be responsible for the cleaning up of the job site and shall repair or restore all structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during performance of the work to the satisfaction of the Public Services Department for the City of Kalamazoo. Where needed, all traffic control used for such operations as defined by the MMUTCD will be the responsibility of the bidder. The bidder shall have all work completed by October 30, 2024.
