The City of Crystal Lake, Illinois, a northwest suburb located in McHenry County with approximately 40,000 residents, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to perform engineering services on various wastewater projects. The requested scope of services is for various wastewater engineer and consulting services including, but not limited to: 1. Feasibility studies for new facilities or additions 2. Facility assessments through evaluations and investigations with recommendations for improvements and enhancements 3. Budgetary estimates for new, renovation, alterations, maintenance and repair projects 4. Budgetary assistance with the development of a five year Capital Improvement Program 5. Design services including the preparation of plans and specifications for construction, alteration, renovation, maintenance and repair projects 6. Structural analysis 7. Construction cost estimates and estimates of time 8. Testing with providing applicable reports 9. Bidding assistance 10. Review and approval of shop drawings and material and equipment submittals 11. Construction oversight with progress reports 12. Various meeting attendance 13. Other types of professional and non-professional services of a nature consistent with the intent of this RFQ as so directed by the City Projects will be negotiated and authorized on a task-order (per project) basis. No single project shall exceed $20,000.00 under the terms of this contract. It's up to the expertise of the consultant to estimate the cost of each project and provide an estimate to the City representative.
