Site work for a civil project in Plymouth, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the Contract. A Pre-Bid Meeting will not be held. The Project consists of the following major items: o SCADA System Replacement for the County's Water Utility Assets including: o 1 Water Treatment Facility o 3 Groundwater Well Sites o 5 Elevated Water Storage Tanks o 1 Ground Level Water Storage Tank Bidding Documents may be examined at Engineer's and Owner's office and at: Hill Company (online) o Construct Connect (online) o North Carolina Bid Network (online). Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instructions to Bidders. Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner encourages Contractor to utilize MBE and WBE subcontractors and suppliers where feasible.
