**As of October 02, 2023, project was awarded to Rodarte Construction, awarded amount is $823,666.22.** The project consists of work to be performed within 40 working days from Notice to Proceed and consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental theretofore and as generally described as follows: Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the Alasund Meadows Gravity - Noll Road Sewer Extension Project. The contractor will be allowed one work suspension to allow material procurement. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization, traffic control, clean-up and demobilization. 2. Install approximately 2,600lf of 8" diameter gravity sewer pipe and man holes in Noll Road. 3. Install side sewer stubs and cleanouts. 4. Re-channel existing manholes and plug existing pipes to adjust sewer flow from the Alasund Meadows pump station to the newly installed gravity line. 5. Temporarily bypass sewer as needed. 6. Grind and overlay one lane of Noll Road. 7. Provide and maintain erosion control measures. 8. Remove and replace ADA compliant curb ramp. 9. All other work necessary to complete the improvements as shown on the plans and described in the provisions. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a cash deposit, certified or cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond made payable to the City of Poulsbo, for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid, including sales tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the Specifications, the bid deposit/bond shall be forfeited to the City of Poulsbo. The award of the Contract will go to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid for the project. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality in the bidding and make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The Engineer's construction estimate for this project is between $825,000 - $925,000 before tax. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
