As of September 14, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline or award has not yet been established. The Work shall be performed under a single contract, and shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Construction of new 6" water main, approximately 930 linear feet in total length along Crowley Street. Construction will involve both open-cut trenching installation and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) installation, with HDPE and PVC pipe. Construction will also involve the installation of gate valves, fire hydrants, and reconnecting the existing water services to the new main. This project also includes Alternate Bid Items for the replacement of various valves and hydrants and replacement of associated valve vaults with standard cast iron valve boxes. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid made payable to the "Town of Randolph". All Bid Bonds shall be on a form acceptable to the Owner, duly executed by the Bidder as Principal and having as surety thereon, a surety company approved by the Owner. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within sixty (60) days of the Bid Opening.
