Notice is hereby given that the City of Missoula Redevelopment Agency (MRA), acting as Project Owner (Owner) for the City of Missoula (City), is seeking professional proposals from engineering firms (Consultant) to provide final design and engineering, bidding, construction management, and project close-out services for the URD II / URD III Bitterroot Trail Lighting Project (Project). All statements, qualifications and professional proposals submitted will be evaluated by a Selection Committee appointed for this purpose. Qualified candidates will be evaluated based on their proposal. Interviews may be conducted at the Selection Committee's discretion. The MRA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals that the Selection Committee deems in the best interests of URD II and URD III or the City of Missoula and for any reason. The selected firm will be notified on or around August 17, 2023, and the MRA/City will negotiate and finalized a Professional Services Agreement and Scope of Services Budget with the selected firm by September 8, 2023 for presentation to the MRA Board of Commissioners on September 15, 2023. This solicitation is being offered in accordance with Montana State statutes governing procurement of professional services. Accordingly, the Missoula Redevelopment Agency reserves the right to negotiate an agreement based on fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed, as well as the right to reject any and all responses deemed unqualified, unsatisfactory or inappropriate.
