As of August 17, 2023, project was awarded to Byrne & Jones Construction awarded amount is $140,953.56 A Bid Guarantee Bond, a Contract Bond (Performance Bond), a Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond (Maintenance Bond shall be for 10% of the final Contract Amount) will be required by the Township. If, due to misconduct or neglect, the contractor fails to complete the contract on or before the completion dates specified in the proposal, the contractor agrees that each day the contract shall remain uncompleted after the dates, the owner may deduct the sum of two-thousand dollars ($2,000) per diem from the contract price. The Base Bid portion of the project will consist of placing 1.5" of asphalt concrete over the existing high school east parking lot and feeder roads as outlined in the plans. complete the WORK WITHIN THIRTY (30) CALENDAR DAYS The time of completion has been revised from thirty (30) days to a set completion date of August 24, 2023.
