South Beach Loop Path Improvements Project This project includes enhancing the multi-use pathway network in South Beach by installing new segments, improving surfaces and improving crossing safety. This project consists of the construction of three new pathway segments: 1. An asphalt pathway along the south side of SE 40th Street connecting the existing multi-use pathway to a new crossing at SE Ash Street; 2. A new sidewalk along the north side of SE 35th Street from the east end to Ferry Slip Road with a new crossing at the intersection of Ferry Slip Road. This segment will also include resurfacing of SE 35th Street in the project area; and 3. A aggregate pathway on the OMSI Camp Gray property directing pedestrians from the sidewalk on SW Abelone Street to the trail entrance at South Beach State Park.
