Site work and paving for a civil project in Dover, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Owner and either a bid bond or a certified check drawn to the order of Town of Dover for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of this project is required The Project consists of the construction of traffic signal upgrades at the intersections of East Blackwell Street (CR 513) & Bergen Street and East Blackwell Street (CR 513) & Morris Street (CR 643). The project also included the installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons on East Blackwell Street (CR 513) at the intersection with Essex Street. All work on this contract must be completed within 60 days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the Town's representative stipulated in the specification.
