This Invitation To Tender (the ITT) is an invitation by the Town of Collingwood (the Town) to prospective bidders to submit binding bids for the provision of Collingwood Elevated Multi-Leg Potable Water Tower Repairs and Upgrades as further described in the ITT Particulars (Appendix D). Valve chamber repairs and upgrades to include: - Surface prep and re-coat paint on all valves and piping- - Apply anti-slip tape on valve pit ladder rungs - Provide CSA fall arrest system as per Fall Arrest specifications on ladder (included in 'Fall Arrest and Rescue Systems' (below) Additional repairs and upgrades to include: - Replace ladder and rungs from catwalk to roof. Pricing includes all interior & exterior coating repairs - Padlock required on hatch to tank interior - Install 'Tag Out' on crows nest ladder Fall Arrest and Rescue Systems - Remove existing fall arrest system and replace with CSA certified system - Supply and install 'D' ring at valve pit ladder - Supply and install 'D' ring at hatch to tank interior - Replace 2pc 'D' rings with S.S. type - Relocate / replace 'D' ring at top of ladder to catwalk Tank Exterior - Power wash lichen / mildew and touch-up corroded areas Given the existing exterior coating contains lead, a full lead abatement as part of the touch up repairs will be required. Tank Interior - Clean and remove tank sediment, disinfect as per AWWA Method #2. Deadline for Questions: August 3, 2023, 3:30pm ET Award subject to final approval
