Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in McClellan, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

STATEMENT OF WORK Frost Park Repairs USCG Air Station Sacramento 1.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1.1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION During the unprecedented storms experienced in Sacramento this past winter, the unit received heavy rains & strong winds that caused significant damage to our recreation area, Frost Park. The metal roof panels of the existing pavilion structure were blown off by the winds. The current design is not suitable for the extreme winds received at the airfield. The support structure is failing and made from wood which is aged and suffering from dry rot. Last known repairs to the structure date back to 2008. Replacing this wood pavilion section with a covered aluminum or comparable structure will prove to withstand the extreme temperatures and high winds throughout the year. Area of structure in need of replacing is approximately 14 ft x 35 ft & 13 ft x 24 ft and will need to be tied into the center pavilion structure. 1.1.1 Technical Point of Contact (POC): LT JAMES DUHAMEL (774) 303-0798 MKC ART CASTANEDA (626) 497- 6000 1.2 LOCATION 1.2.1 Work to be conducted at USCG Air Station Sacramento. 6037 Price Ave McClellan, CA 95652 1.3 AIR STATION AND LOCAL REGULATIONS 1.3.1 The work site is on Government property.
