Renovation of a transportation facility in McClellan, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
As of 01/04/2022 This project has not been awarded. Provide all labor, materials, tools,equipment, transportation, supervision, field investigation, and testing services necessary to replace high bay fluorescent luminaires and controls with high bay LED luminaires and wireless controls at the Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento Hangar 1106 in Sacramento County at McClellan Airfield, California. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following:A. Demolish and dispose high bay fluorescent luminaires and mounting pendants. All demolition and disposal of demolished equipment shall be in accordance with all Federal, State, Local laws,codes,and regulations.B. Remove bird netting prior new lighting system installation and reinstall existing bird netting after installation of the lighting system. If an Option Bid item is authorized by Contracting Officer, the reinstallation work for the existing bird netting will be deleted.C. Provide new high bay LED luminaires, wireless controls and all associated conduit and wires and mounting hardware. See Design Drawings and Specifications.D. Contractor shall fill in all required data for new equipment enrollment form. The data shall include, but not be limited to,manufacturer name, model number, serial number, install date,purchase price, warranty expiration date, and equipment description. See Appendix for the new equipment enrollment form.Contractor shall submit the completed enrollment forms to CG for review.E. To ensure continued worker safety during the pandemic, the USCG encourages contractor to adopt the workplace best practices recommended by the CDC, OSHA, and other relevant organizations.OPTION BID ITEM: Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment,transportation, supervision, field survey, and design service, to furnish and install new bird netting system with 6 feet by 6 feet zippered access and necessary components and supports. Shop drawings and material to be installed shall be provided to CG for review prior to installing the new bird netting. Work must be completed 80 calendar days after award. All Requests for Information (RFIs) must be received by Tuesday, November 23, 2021. We cannot guarantee an answer if RFIs are received after Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Magnitude of construction: Between $250,000 to $500,000.
