The City of Maryville is seeking proposals for materials and labor for the construction of one (1) cast-in-place concrete basement for the purpose of constructing one (1) Welcome Center at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park. One (1) Welcome Center will be constructed with a total square-footage of 3,208 square-feet, 24665 Ridge Road, Maryville, Missouri. Enclosed you will find a copy ofthe bid documents for your review and submission. Within this packet is a list of materials needed and other guidelines to consider while preparing your proposal. The City has partnered with the Northwest Technical School to provide an opportunity to high school students to improve trade skills with the construction of the Welcome Center at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park. School begins August 22, 2023 and it is anticipated that the students will be prepared for on-site construction by mid-September. Students will not participate in the requested RFP basement project, but the basement will be required to be completed in coordination with their arrival on-site in September. The job shall conform to the Missouri Prevailing Wage Laws Annual Wage Order No. 20. All bidders shall comply with the requirements of Section 285.530 RSMo, E-Verify, and OSHA Safety Training.
