The City of Sunnyvale is seeking proposals from licensed Engineering and Planning firms to provide professional services for design and preparation of bid documents and construction support for the Evelyn Avenue Multi-Use Trail Project. The scope of work generally includes evaluation of existing conditions, preparation of preliminary design, design development, bid documents, and bidding/construction support for Public Works competitive bidding. Ancillary work includes minor support for grant reporting requirements which includes providing project status, budget status and next quarter projected tasks/budget usage (State of California, Parks and Recreation Department, Per Capita Program and Specified Grants Program), construction cost estimating, schedule monitoring, preparation of reports and recommendations, and project management. The City also encourages consultant firms to propose alternative approaches that introduce innovative, higher quality or impactful results, and cost savings.
