TIMELINE: Notice of Intent to Direct Award: Notice is hereby given by the City of Abbotsford of its intent to direct award a contract to Kerr Wood Leidal Consulting Engineers (KWL) for the following services on behalf of the City: Engineering Design and Construction Services for Sumas River and Canal Sediment Program. Firms wishing to object to this NOI must email their objection to the attention of Timothy McBride, Manager, Procurement at purchasing@abbotsford.ca . The deadline for objections is set for July 31, 2023, before 2:00 p.m. PST. *As the ongoing provision of services is critical for public safety, the City intends to award the engineering services support to KWL up to a total anticipated cost of $3,300,000 plus GST.
