Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Midland, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Phase II will extend these streetscape improvements along S. Saginaw Road from Dartmouth Street to Ashman Circle, further advancing the districts redevelopment goals. Planned enhancements include: Improved visibility and accessibility for businesses; Safer and more inviting infrastructure for walking and biking; and Strategic design elements to define and support future development opportunities within the Circle area. Engineering and design work for Phase II is scheduled to begin in FY 2026, utilizing remaining funds from Phase I construction. Construction is planned for 2028, in coordination with the Citys Saginaw Road street and utility improvement project. The project is included in the City's 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 30 , 2026 , further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
