Construction Project - Non-personal services for bathroom and breakroom/kitchen renovations for the National Weather Service (NWS), Birmingham and Knoxville Weather Forecast Offices (WFO) located in Calera, AL and Morristown, TN per the attached Statement of Work. Total Small Business Set-Aside per FAR Part 13 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). Firm Fixed-Price contract will be awarded per the Trade-Off criteria in CAR 1352.213-70. See the attached full Construction Clauses and Provisions with all terms and conditions which all vendors must be in compliance with to be eligible for award. New contract, no incumbent. Restrooms - Men and Women o Remove and replace restroom stall hardware & wall partitions for each restroom with new solid plastic wall partitions. o Replace 2 ea. counter vanities with new sinks and faucets. Counter top and side border colors to match Kitchen - Employee Breakroom. o Clean and paint steel cleanout boxes. o Clean and prep walls for painting. o Install 2 ea toilets and 1 ea urinal which are ADA-compliant, Elongated toilets 17-19" seat height models. Urinals also have ADA requirement of 13.5" min. depth and 17" max. rim height above FF. o Prep and paint all walls, and door jambs using two coats of interior Satin paint. Color will be decided later. o Clean floor and grout joints and buff tile floor. 2. Kitchen - Employee Breakroom. o Clean, prime and paint metal lockers, inside and out. o Remove all cabinets, countertops, sink and faucet. o Install new custom wood cabinets. Configuration to be determined. Prototype pictures attached at the end of the SOW. o Install new quartz countertops, and quartz backsplash o Install new tile backsplash on wall behind sink, to the cabinets. o Install new LED under counter lights, over sink and counter. o Install new matching lower cabinets and counter top on wall opposite lockers to give the room a wrap around effect. Lazy Susan cabinet to be installed in corner if possible. o Install new 30" undermount stainless sink and tall faucet. o Relocate existing outlet for refrigerator to new location where refrigerator will be. o Install new waterline to appropriate location for refrigerator and coffee area. o Install new replaceable cannister style water filter under new sink. o Remove existing wall covering. Seal, prime and apply two coats of paint to walls, jambs, doors and ceiling. Colors decided later. o Install new ceramic tile and ceramic baseboard on floor. o Clean floor, grout joints and seal tile floor.
