Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Belleville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located at the structure carrying MetroBikeLink over the Norfolk Southern Railroad and Richland Creek (Str. B30.17), in Swansea, Illinois and adjacent to the MetroLink Rail. The proposed project consists of the complete removal and replacement of the existing pressure treated timber deck planks and nailers, including all carriage bolts, self-drilling screws, neoprene rubber barrier, and any other work necessary to complete the project as described. All questions shall be forwarded to Tony Erwin by email at terwin@scctd.org The proposed project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing pressure treated timber deck planks and guardrail of the bridge carrying the Metro Bike Link over the Nor folk Southern Railroad and Richland Creek in Swansea, Illinois and other work necessary to complete the project as described. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Illinois Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, edition in effect at the time of the bid
