The purpose of this Statement of Work is to select a vendor to replace the metal roof of a machine shed (Building 14) at the Oklahoma & Central Plains Agricultural Research Center (OCPARC) located at 2000 18th St., Woodward, Oklahoma 73801. BACKGROUND The Facilities and Site The OCPARC develops and improves native grasses for use in the agricultural, energy, and wildlife habitat restoration industries. Building 14 machine shed is used for the storage of agricultural equipment and farm machinery. It was built in 1948 and has an approximately 3,576 square foot area. Specific Requirements and Specifications 1. Provide all labor and materials needed to complete the scope of work. 2. Remove the existing metal roof panels, 2 roof vents and 1 furnace exhaust vent. 3. Install new 26-gauge R-panels, trim and accessories. 4. Fasteners may need to be pre-drilled into the heavy purlins and rafters. 5. Clean up old materials, trash and debris resulting from the tear-out and install. 6. Work hours: 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday except for recognized Federal Holidays. Work outside of these hours requires the prior consent of the Contracting Officer. Safety Contractors are expected to always foster and operate in a safe and expeditious manner.
