Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Rock Island, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
As of December 21, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center STEAM Lab 630 9th Street, Rock Island, IL. At said time and place, all bids will be publicly opened and read. Section 3 and MBE/WBE businesses are encouraged to bid. The Contractor will be responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to this project. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage laws, preference will be given to Illinois residents on public works projects. The City of Rock Island is an EEO employer and encourages bidders to consider hiring Section 3 and MBE/WBE subcontractors. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or technicalities.
