Renovation of a mixed-use development in Orillia, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
This Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) is an invitation by the City of Orillia (the City) to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide General Contracting for renovations to three (3) City of Orillia public counters as further described in Section A of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the Deliverables). The term 'Supplier' refers to a contractor able to provide the equipment and services as detailed in Appendix A. Two (2) of the public facing counters included in the project are located at the Orillia City Centre, 50 Andrew Street South, Orillia, Ontario. One (1) of the public facing counters included in the project is located at the Orillia Recreation Centre, 255 West Street South, Orillia, Ontario. The City is pre-qualifying suppliers who, if successful, will be eligible to participate in a future second-stage competitive process. The second stage is due to be released in August 2023, with construction set to commence in the fall/winter of 2023-24. The successful respondent of the second stage will act as a general contractor to oversee the renovation and upgrades of security features, finishes/millwork, accessibility features, data/communications, electrical and mechanical at the three counters.
