More information may be obtained at https://orillia.bidsandtenders.ca/ - Construction of a deep foundation with caissons (600 mm to 900 mm in diameter, to a depth of 15 m); - Construction of a retaining wall around the above grade water standpipe; - Installation and inspection of rebar for deep foundation, pile cap, tank foundation; - All associated earthworks involved with the deep foundation, foundation, and retaining wall; - Supply and Installation of new 500 and 600 mm CPP watermains including live tapping to existing 600 mm CPP watermain; - Supply and Installation of four (4) subgrade valve chambers; - Construction of a new pre-cast control building including electrical works and standby emergency generator; - Supply and installation of any process mechanical, fittings, valves, and appurtenances; - Electrical and I&C works including lighting, receptacles, and associated works; - All associated site works including utility relocation (hydro, fiber), excavation, backfilling, grading, swales, siltation, control works, and material and equipment storage; - Decommissioning (not demolition) of the existing reservoir; - Commissioning of the potable water system including pressure testing of watermains and disinfection of piping and tanks.
