Construction for this project is anticipated for 2027. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* The purpose of this RFP is to obtain a qualified consultant team to assist the District in meeting specific project objectives through the use of professional services. The project objective for S2001 Picnic Point Wastewater Treatment Facility (PPWWTF) Outfall Replacement Project is to increase the outfall capacity to match future treatment plant discharge rates. To achieve this, the District intends to pursue three project elements: Replacement of the upland portion of the outfall extending from the PPWWTF to Picnic Point Park, Replacement and extension of the marine portion of the outfall into Puget Sound, Perform roadway, park, and environmental restoration. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The qualified consultant team will provide professional services including but not limited to: Upland and bathymetric surveying, Sewer design and engineering, Trenchless pipe installation method selection and design, Environmental impact assessment, mitigation planning, and permitting, Public and railway right of way permitting, Easement acquisition, Development of bid-ready plans, specifications, and cost estimates. At the District's option, the consultant team selected for this work may be asked to assist with construction support services and other services associated with construction of these improvements.
