Renovation of a municipal facility in Maskwacis, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Montana First Nation Administration Building was built in the early 1980's and is mainly a one storey building with a raised center area over the gym. The existing building is a pre-engineered metal building. The original low slope metal roof has several leaks and a new roof is required. Due to concerns with low slope roof, and the high probability of no metal decking under the existing metal roof, the new system will be built over the existing roof. Refer to the architectural drawings for new roof assembly. The existing gas lines will need to be lifted to accommodate the increased roof insulation. Contractor will coordinate with Owner during Construction, periods of building shut down. The building needs to remain operational throughout the project with only short closures for roofing replacement, and plenty of notice will need to be given. Scope of work includes Mechanical and Electrical disconnection and re-connection.
