Valley Health Plan HQ Tenant Improvements Question Deadline 09/18/2023 at 8:00 PM PT New Q&A End Date The county of Santa Clara valley health plan HQ. Tenant improvements will house the countys valley health plan headquarters. The work will retrofit the second and partial ground floor of an existing 46,700sf, concrete tilt-up panel, single story, high bay building for use as the headquarters for valley health plan. This requires upgrades to the building, that includes new systems and equipment. The existing structure is two stories, the roof framing is wood panelized system comprised of sub-purlins and beams supported on steel columns, the second floor is a concrete over metal deck with steel open web joists/girders and steel beams supported on steel tube columns or concrete walls. The building is a cold shell constructed in 2,000 with three existing open stairs, an elevator, a loading dock, an electrical room, and a MPOE room. The updated building second floor will house VHP staff offices, workstations, two classroooms, conference rooms, breakrooms, and other amenities, the ground floor include a main entrance lobby, an office, work stations, conference rooms, break area, restrooms, shower facilities, secondary entries, new operable exterior walls connecting conference rooms to the exterior patio area, interior moveable partitions, storage/shipping and receiving area, support spaces, and an added second elevator. The balance of the building to be reserved as warm shell for future tenancy. The project is designed to be net zero energy facility and LEED ceritfied with natural ventilation with improved access to daylight on the second floor. The Work will consist of but not limited to the following: Retrofitting the second and partial first floors of an existing concrete tilt-up panel, two-story, existing cold shell building for use as the headquarters for Valley Health Plan. Constructing the entrance lobby, office space, workstations, conference rooms, break area, restrooms, shower facilities, secondary entries, new operable exterior walls connecting conference rooms to the exterior patio area, interior moveable partitions, storage/shipping and receiving area, support spaces, and an added second elevator on the First Floor. The balance of the building to be reserved as warm shell for future tenancy. Constructing offices, workstations, classrooms, conference rooms, breakrooms, and other amenities for a full tenant improvement construction on second floor for VHP's use. The project is designed to be net zero energy facility and LEED certified with natural ventilation with improved access to daylight on the second floor. The project will include but not limited to work related to following building elements and systems: o Building envelope improvements o Structural Improvements o Elevator o Mechanical System and equipment o Plumbing System equipment o Electrical system and equipment o Fire Protection/Suppression o Fire Alarm System o Telecommunications, Security, AV, Acoustic o Site improvements o Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment (FFE) HPST204
