Project includes construction of a new 81 space paved parking lot for the Town of Vinton. Project Location: 7 Walnut Avenue, Vinton, Virginia 24179. The Town of Vinton reserves the right to cancel this Invitation to Bid ("ITB"), reject any or all bids, and/or rebid the Project at any time prior to the award of the contract. The Town of Vinton reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids. Summary Project Description: This Project includes construction of a new 81 space paved parking lot for the Town of Vinton. This lot will be constructed over an existing paved and gravel lot. Access to the new parking lot will be from Walnut Avenue and Jackson Avenue. Additional improvements include sidewalks, retaining wall, site lighting, underground electric service, and new storm drainage structures and piping. Alternate #1 is mill and overlay Jackson Avenue.. B. Contract Scope: Construction and demolition. All questions must be submitted in writing to Mike Woolwine by 5:00 PM local time on Tuesday, August 15, 2023
