Frederick County, Maryland (hereinafter called the County) is seeking bids from qualified Contractors (hereinafter called the Contractor) for the provision of combined paving and concrete work at various County locations. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish contract(s) for labor, material, equipment, and incidentals necessary to patch, repair, cold mill, overlay, crack seal and pavement seal coat various County parking lots and access roads, and to repair and/or install new sidewalks, sidewalk ramps, curb, and gutter curb on an on-call basis. Agreement Term: One year with four one-year renewals. Questions Due and to Whom: Questions due no later than 4:00 PM on August 11, 2023 The County reserves the right to require submission of a performance bond for the full amount of any job order costing in excess of $100,000.00. If requested by the County, the Contractor shall provide such a bond within ten days after notification of approved proposal. The bond shall be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in Maryland. The County reserves the right to accept or reject the request for a price increase and will do so in writing. If the price increase is approved, the price increase will be effective upon written approval and will remain firm through the renewal period.
