**As of July 21, 2025 project is awarded to Fred Smith Company, but no amount given.** Question Deadline 05/02/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Work consists of enhancing Pearl Street from West Main Street to the end of Pearl Street and Parker Street from site development improvements to North Montague Street. The Contractor is responsible for the full scope of work including; construction surveying, grading, paving, storm drain, waterline, sewer line, curb and gutter, driveways, sidewalk, curb ramps, site stabilization, and plantings. Contractor is responsible to coordinate with utilities as needed and obtain final NCDEQ acceptance. The Town of Garner is an equal opportunity municipality and invites small and minority contractors to bid. No BIDDER may withdraw their bid within 60 days of the date of bid opening without forfeiting the bid bond The TOWN reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. The BIDDER to whom contract is awarded must comply fully with requirements of G.S. Section 143-129, as amended including a bond in the full amount of the contract to secure the faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all services due for labour and materials.
