Renovation of a military facility in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 9,500-square-foot military facility.

This project will replace the aging standing seam metal roofs of the Comfort Station and the Curatorial building at Charles Pinckney NHS. The Comfort station is a cross-gabled roof with the reverse gable only to one side for aesthetics, it is approximately 3500 square feet with a 10/12 pitch. The Curatorial building is also a cross-gabled roof although it is L-Shaped and is approximately 6000 square feet with a 10/12 pitch. These roofs will need to be replaced with similar style and matching materials to maintain the desired appearance, of green painted galvanized steel as well as matching the current durability or providing a better solution. The roofing substructure shall be replaced as needed up to approximately 850 square feet on the Comfort Station and roughly 1250 square feet on the curatorial building of plywood, vapor barrier and moisture retardant. All damaged fascia or trim boards shall be included as well for Charles Pinckney National Historic Site Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. SITE LOCATION: Charles Pinckney National Historic Site 1254 Long Point Road Mount Pleasant, South Carolina 29464. A certificate of insurance is required, and coverage must be at a minimum of: $100,000 per person; $500,000 per occurrence; and $1,000,000 per property and must be submitted within 10 calendar days of receipt of the award.
