The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following: o Notify property owners of verification work to be completed on private property as specified herein. o Complete two (2) exterior verifications at each property according EGLE guidelines and the project specifications, including identification of material type and completion of a Survey123 electronic questionnaire and photos of each verification. o Complete one (1) interior verification at each property according EGLE guidelines and the project specifications, including identification of material type and completion of a Survey123 electronic questionnaire and photos of each verification. o This project entails examination of existing plumbing and therefore the Contractor will not be considered a formal "Plumbing Inspector." Proof of Master Plumber license will not be necessary to complete this work. Neither the OWNER nor the ENGINEER will be responsible for partial sets of documents obtained from any other source. The Advertisement for Bids, Plan Holder's List, all Addenda, and the Bid Tabulation will also be posted on the Wightman website bidding page A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the Village of Three Oaks, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days to allow for the review of proposals and to allow completion of necessary financial arrangements. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents.
