Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in St Malo, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

1.) Benoit Ave. is to be repaved/paved from Rue St. Malo to the intersection of Birch Trail at the West end. Benoit currently has an asphalt surface from Rue St. Malo to a former roundabout west of La Riviere Ave. This section is to have the utility crossing, repairs, and cuts brought to surrounding grades with a levelling asphalt lift. The roadway will then be overlaid with 50 mm of asphalt 2.) The gravel surface area in front of the Daycare Facility to Birch Trail will need to be graded to the municipal standard crossfall, and then paved with 75 mm of asphalt The R.M. will review the tenders on a low bid basis, but reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and waive formalities as the R.M. may require. The project is to start as soon as possible after award and be completed by Sept 30, 2023. If the contractor is not complete the work by Sept 30, 2023, a penalty will be charged of $2500 per day until the work is complete. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com
