The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting proposals for residential house cleaning services for disabled Kent County Veterans. Kent County Veterans Service Officers, Disability Advocates, Senior Neighbors, and other community stakeholders assist Kent County Veterans Services (KCVS) in identifying disabled Veteran families in need of this service. KCVS reviews and prioritizes referrals based on severity of need and will delegate up to 33 residential properties at which house cleaning services will be performed. The funding for the Veterans House Cleaning Services is available October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024. Currently, KCVS is providing cleaning services to eight (8) disabled Veteran families. Selected contractor will do an initial cleaning and evaluation visit for each new location. Cleaning services are bi-weekly after initial evaluation. Contractor will also provide invoicing at the end of each month detailing the dates, locations and work performed.
