This project is for the engineering and replacement of the main chiller at the Volusia County Branch Jail. The current chiller was installed in 2000 and has reached the end of its useful lifespan. Current warranty and maintenance agreements expire in June of 2024. Along with the chiller, the primary chilled water pumps, secondary chilled water pumps, and the condenser water pumps will be replaced. All existing underground piping will be abandoned in place and new piping will be installed overhead. The installation needs to be integrated with the existing Direct digital control system.
