The Department of City Development (DCD) of the City of Milwaukee will receive bids from qualified firms to provide Plumbing Maintenance Services for City of Milwaukee Habitable and Improved Neighborhood properties. The SWMBE/LSA Requirement for this Project is: 25% SWMBE/LSA Participation Time of contract: Contract to be executed and effective October 1, 2023. Term of the contract will expire 3 years after the effective date of the contract. Plumbing Services will be on an as needed, as requested, project by project basis. Please e-mail DCD Purchasing with any questions regarding this bid: DCDPurchasing@milwaukee.gov. The deadline for questions will be August 16, 2023, by 4:45 PM CDT. Contractor shall have a Master Plumber License with State of Wisconsin to perform this work. Contractors submitting a bid without already having the required licenses will be rejected as being non-responsive. A Master Plumber licensed with the State of Wisconsin and City of Milwaukee whose sole business operation is plumbing DOES NOT NEED to obtain a City of Milwaukee Home Improvement Contractor License.
