Site work for a road / highway in Ashland, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The scope of work consists generally of providing the necessary material, labor and equipment for constructing a stormwater management facility in accordance with plans prepared by Timmons Group entitled: FRONTAGE ROAD PROPOSED GRASS CHANNEL. The design includes tree planting and landscaping to improve the aesthetics of the channel. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required. The Contractor shall perform in a professional manner all work described in or reasonably implied by the Contract Documents; all additional or incidental work that is necessary to complete the Work to the finished lines and grades; and all Work necessary to connect the Work with adjoining work or facilities. The Contractor shall furnish all implements, machinery, equipment, tools, material, labor, and construction expertise necessary to perform the Work. Bidders are responsible for obtaining addenda. If documents are downloaded from the website you MUST call or email the purchasing department (804-798-9219 or wcornwell@ashlandva.gov) to be added to the bidders list to assure that you will receive notice of addenda or changes. Bidders may also check the Town's website regularly. Bidders who do not obtain and acknowledge all addenda may be disqualified.
