The City of Riverside (City), through its Department of Public Utilities (RPU), is pleased to announce this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the replacement of the existing Hunter Substation. RPU is requesting proposals from qualified and properly licensed Design-Build Entities (Proposers). The acquired services shall include, but not limited to, design, procurement, construction, and commission services for the Hunter Substation Replacement project (Project). The Scope of Services are described more specifically in Exhibit A. Bid Bond: $2,000,000.00 Payment Bond : 100.00% Performance Bond: 100.00% Question Deadline: 09/25/2023 at 2:00 PM PT The general prevailing rates of per diem wages, and the general prevailing rates of pay for holiday and overtime work for each craft, classifications, and type of worker needed to execute the City's contracts for public works and improvements. All work, except warranty services and demolition of existing substation, shall be substantially completed within forty months (40) after the day of commencement established in the City's Notice to Proceed. The date of award will be specified in the Notice to Proceed
