As of August 24, 2023, project was awarded to Iron City Construction Inc. in the Base Bid amount of $113,741.24. The Borough of Baden, Beaver County, Pennsylvania will accept sealed bids for the Baden Borough Storm Sewer Inlet Replacement Project The project consists of placement of drainage pipes, inlets and manholes including road restoration on state and local roads. All questions concerning this solicitation must be sent via email to tsadaka@widmerengineering.com no later than (5) five days prior to the due date. All work must be completed in sixty (60) calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, money order or bidder surety bond in the amount specified in instructions to bidders as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The minimum wage rates for each craft or classification of all workmen needed to perform this contract during the anticipated term hereof shall be governed by State Prevailing Wage Rates. The Borough of Baden reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, and to award the contract to the best interest of the Borough.
