Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Baden, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Work Shall Consist of All Labor, Equipment, and Materials Necessary for the Following Project: 2023 Road Improvement Project - Work Consists of Milling Existing Asphalt, Paving Hot Mix Asphalt Superpave Binder and Wearing Courses, Inlet Adjustment, Base Repair, New Asphalt Wedge Curbs, Other Related Appurtenances, and Miscellaneous Work on Various Roads Totaling Approximately 14,800 Feet in Length. Proposals Must Be Submitted on the Original Forms Furnished by the Borough. Each Bidder Must Submit a Bid Bond or Cashier S Check as Bid Security in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid Amount Made Payable to Economy Borough. No Bids May Be Withdrawn Within Sixty (60) Days After the Date of Opening. All Bidders Must Have Penndot Prequalification Certificates for the Work Classifications Contemplated by This Project. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Bid Amount, and an 18-month Maintenance Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Amount Will Be Required. Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates Will Apply. Economy Borough Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids Either in Whole or in Part, to Waive Any Informalities, and to Alter the Scope of Work.
