Question Deadline 04/30/2024 at 4:00 PM ET In the PennBID Portal, the period for questions deadline The project involves removal of existing cedar shakes, inspection and selective repair of purlins as needed, and installation of new cedar shake roof, eave protection, interlay, underlayment, vent flashing, flashing, drip edge and new cedar shake roofing system located at the Octagonal Schoolhouse at 2091 Second Street Pike, Newtown, PA 18940. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft or bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total Bid Amount made payable to the Township. each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, to secure (a) the faithful performance and maintenance of the Contract; and (b) the prompt payment of materials and labor. The Township also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the work and to negotiate Contract terms with the successful Bidder.
