Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Construction of approximately 17,600 SF of 4" Concrete Sidewalk, 460 SY of 6" Concrete Recreational Path and 450 SY of Concrete Sidewalk Ramps. CITY BID NO. 2300065 Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond no less than 5% of the amount of the bid made payable to the City of Lawrence, retained by the City Commission until a contract for the project shall have been awarded. Checks will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders when their bids are rejected. The Work will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph GC-54 of the General Conditions within 140 calendar days days after the date when the Contract Time commences to run Liquidated Damages: Contractor shall pay Owner $500.00 for each day that expires after the time specified above for Final Completion until the Work is complete. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities.
