Renovation of an educational facility in Gustine, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,017-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Gustine Unified School District of Merced County, California, ("District"), is seeking proposals from qualified firms for Lease Leaseback Construction Services ("LLB") for improvements to the Central Kitchen ("Project"). The Project includes interior, exterior improvements and all associated work. The estimated construction budget is Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000) with an estimated performance period of four (4) months. The winning proposal will be determined based on the "best value" competitive procurement process under Education Code section 17400 et seq., whereby the LLB firm is evaluated and selected by the District based on a combination of price and qualifications of the LLB firm. THE SCOPE OF THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF A COMPLETE REMODEL AND CONVERSION OF AN EXISTING KITCHEN AND MULTIPURPOSE ROOM INTO A CENTRALIZED KITCHEN TO INCLUDE WALK-IN COOLERS, DRY STORAGE AREA, UPGRADED ADA RESTROOM AND A MANAGER'S OFFICE The estimated construction budget for this Project is $2,000,000 and the estimated performance period is 120 calendar days.
