Contractor to provide the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) as-needed services for repair, maintenance, replacement, refurbishment, installation, testing, and inspection of fire protection and life safety systems which are a part of the State Water Project. The anticipated term of this agreement is three (3) years with the option to renew for two (2) additional years. In submitting your bid, you must comply with these instructions. Inquiries regarding the processing of this bid should be referred to Vinay Singh at vinay.singh@water.ca.gov. Bidder's Bond must be equal to 10% of the bid amount. Payment Bond must be equal to 100% of the contract amount Performance Bond must be equal to 100% of the contract amount Bidder must submit a copy of their C-16 (Fire Protection Contractor) License, issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board (CSLB). The license must be valid at the time of bid submittal and throughout the term of the contract. Copy of current and valid Contractor's License: C-16 Fire Protection License issued by California Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board All contractors who are awarded a contract shall also post any required notice adopted by DIR regarding prevailing wage monitoring and enforcement program. Contractor must use prevailing wage rates for the appropriate classifications used in the performance of the work specified in the Scope of Work that is considered "public works". Contractor can access these rates on the internet at electronically or by calling the California Department of Industrial Relations at (415) 703- 4774 for paper copies of the rates. The Contractor is aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the Labor Code, which requires every employer to be insured against liability for workers' compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that code and the Contractor and any subcontractors will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this contract.
