The Corporation requests Bids for the following work on the Project (the "Work"), as more fully described in the documents indicated in IB.5: (a) Site preparation and grading (b) Earthworks (c) Tree removals, clearing and grubbing (d) Wooded granular trail system (e) Asphalt pedestrian pathway system (f) Playground (g) Basketball court (h) Site furnishings (i) Cast-in-place stairs (j) Metal handrails (k) Armourstone retaining wall (l) Sub drainage (m) Pedestrian road crossing (n) Curb modifications, pedestrian curb ramp, and tactile warning indicator strips (o) Guardrail (p) Planting (q) Seeding and sodding Question Deadline Date: 08/16/2023 04:00:00 PM ET Corporation further reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts of bids, including without limitation the lowest bid, to order additional units at price submitted, or to accept any proposal considered in its best interest, and to request re-bids on the required materials and/or services; the Corporation also reserves the right to waive irregularities and technicalities and to do so in its sole discretion. Every Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond issued by a company acceptable to the Corporation in the amount of ten (10) % of the Bid Price including all applicable taxes. Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of the Bid Price including all applicable taxes. Labour and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the Bid Price including all applicable taxes. Maintenance Bond in the amount of 50% of the Bid Price including all applicable taxes for a period of two years.
