Through a Qualifications Based Selection process, Utilities Kingston retains highly qualified firms whose work plan and financial proposal provide the highest value for ratepayers. Utilities Kingston is seeking professional consulting services to produce a Climate Action Leadership Plan. The objectives of this assignment are to define Utilities Kingston's climate action goals, strategies, and financial resource requirements across the four pillars of the Climate Action Leadership Plan: Evaluating the feasibility of carbon-neutral operations Investigating opportunities for climate action leadership community support Exploring the potential for decarbonizing natural gas and opportunities for lower-carbon business ventures Climate change risk assessment and risk management Question Deadline 08/22/2023 04:00:00 PM ET. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Utilities Kingston reserves the right to Award the assignment to the highest scored technical proposal in the event of a tie after opening and evaluating Financial Submission, Reject a price when opened that, in its sole discretion, is deemed to be too low or too high or wherein the value exceeds the budget available, and; Reject a proposal that does not include acceptable payment terms within the Financial Submission
