This Request for Proposals (the RFP) is an invitation by the City of Kingston (the City) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Enhanced Flood Protection of Abbey Dawn Road, Highway 2 and St. Lawrence Avenue as further described in Part 2 of the RFP Particulars (the Deliverables). The City intends to complete a rehabilitation of Abbey Dawn Road, Highway 2 and St. Lawrence Avenue including road grade raises, minor widening and resurfacing including new concrete box culverts. The works will include a structural support slab over the deck of the Highway 2 culvert and environmental protection of all works. The date for contractor site mobilization is anticipated to be as early as January 2024. Substantial completion by June 28, 2025. *As of December 5, 2023, the submissions are still under review with the owner. A timeframe for a possible award has not been provided for publication bid value not released for publication.
